Salisbury Steak


1 can condensed French onion soup

2 lbs ground beef

1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs

1 egg

1/4 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

1/4 cup ketchup

1/4 cup water

1/4 cup Harvest Neapolitan Herb Balsamic

1/2 tsp. mustard or mustard powder

Harvest White Truffle Oil (optional)


In large bowl, mix together 1/3 cup French onion soup with ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Shape into 6-8 patties. In large skillet, over medium-high heat, brown both sides of patties. Pour off excess fat. In small bowl, combine remaining soup, ketchup, water and mustard/mustard powder. Pour over meat in skillet. Cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring sauce occasionally. Drizzle with Harvest White Truffle oil, if desired.
